Boot's ultra sound device sounded very intriguing indeed, and after reading jimindigo's message yesterday I scooted off to Boot's website. Like others, I found nothing in the electronics department.
Anyway, having been fooled on more than one occasion by various treatments* I thought a little research might not be amiss, and I found this very sober run-through of the evidence (or lack of it):

* I'm currently undergoing a programme of reflexology. After six or so weeks no improvement in anything is detectable, and even if there were, who's to say it's due to pressure exerted on different parts of the sole? Could be due to anything. On the other hand, the reflexologist and I enjoy a good natter, and that's therapeutic enough I suppose.
