I just read on the internet that women whov`e had children are much more likely to get RLS. the more kids that a woman has, the higher the risk. How does having kids give you RLS?

Well I've 3 kids and very bad RLS but then I'm a man :)

I know a lot of women can develop it temporarily in pregnancy I assume its to do with Iron stores and the developing foetus. Maybe there are changes in dopamine levels in pregnant women?

More kids- less brainpower! Kids are dopamine drains.

True, but! When they slip in beside you and hug and say I love you, that is a wee bullet of dopamine right there!

It doesnt it mayb have to do with iron but to say gaving kids gives you rls is nonsense.

It's well know that some women get RLS when they are pregnant and then some continue with the RLS from that time. That is what happened to me and I have had it now for 40 years. I try not to blame my daughter!!
