Even my neurologist

Yes, the statins are giving me augmentation according to my neurologist. It has been driving me crazy and I've tried at least 6 different kinds of statins. Currently, my GP has me taking one statin 2 times a week. It still gives me the heebee geebees but not as bad. Maybe you can discuss this approach with your doctor.

Statins have been shown to be very VERY bad and should not be used.

I urge you to do what ever it takes to loose weight and change your cholesterol levels.

I was on blood pressure medication which I was told I would be on for life and I had very high cholesterol "There is no point getting drugs for it as it wont help it is genetic" - according to the GP.

Well now no blood pressure tablets and cholesterol is normal. It took exercise, diet and stopping smoking but it is doable - particularly when it is a new healthy you V an out of shape and demented with RLS you.

The great thing is the choice is yours to make, I hope you make the right one.

Best of luck.

Satins are overrated. In his book Stabbed in the Back, Dr. Norton Hadler says you would have to treat 250 men with high cholesterol for five years to prevent one heart attack, but u still would not prevent death from hear disease. But u suffer the side effects. He says if u need to treat more than 20 people with a medicine for one year to prevent one adverse event then it is not worth taking the meds. Try a plant-based whole food eat all u want diet for one month. Check drmcdougall.com, also nutritionfacts.org.
