Nightdancer -the law is going to require all opiates to be transmitted electronically straight to pharmacy and limiting to a 7 day supply. This has been as a result of the attrition rate in US.

And, can you give me a reference where i can read about this. I take opiates and have for 12 yrs, and I keep up with all laws on that, and I have not seen anything like that. Lots of places do electronic now, and they do it for 28 days or 30 days. Where I live they have not even gone electronic yet, and I still have to go the doc's office to pick up the WRITTEN prescription, take it to the drug store and wait for it, every 28 days. The federal law now says 28 days,. I just want to know where you friend heard or saw this. It may be a state by state thing. BUT, if that is so, every 7 days, there will be a LOT of problems, as we all know, so I just want a reference, since you are asking for me specifically. Where did your friend see this? PLEEEEEEEEEASE
