Yes, I believe there are. I am taking Verapamil for AF and this can make it worse. I am in the process of trying to get this med changed to see if my RLS improves.

Yes antidepressants (with the exeption of Wellbutrin and Trazadone ),Antihistamines (with the exception of Clarytin and Allegra ),anti sickness (with the exception of Zofran and for some Domperidone ) ,over the counter sleep aids such as Benydril, anything containing Diphenhydramine or Phenylephrine. For some Melatonin.

Yeah a lot can particularly antidepressants.

Is there a drug you are concerned about?

PAXIL is my main concern.

Yeah, that'll will do it, I think the SSRI's are particularly bad.

Digoxin (heart drug) caused it for me, it was a listed side effect of the med.

When I stopped taking it, (under medical supervision) RLS stopped.

Amitriptylline also.

Someone on here had it after taking Bisoprolol (another heart drug) although I'm fine on that one.

It seems that some drugs can affect you but may not always affect someone else the same way :(

I am surprised that the link in the first reply does not mention statins- cholesterol lowering meds. They can cause RLS, and they are so very widely prescribed, I am amazed that they aren't in the list. Statins hinder your body's production of coQ-10, a nutrient your muscles have to have to function. If you take statins and have muscle soreness and weakness, it's an indication that those drugs are breaking your muscles down. RLS is commonly reported as a side effect. If you stay on those drugs, coQ-10 supplements are a must.
