How strange,I would why that happens?
Hi Steve,
I have noticed the same, if I have flu and am laid up in bed for a couple of days the RLS symptoms are significantly reduced. I can sleep for hours with no symptoms, whereas normally I cannot lie down for more than 10 minutes during the day without fidgeting and jumping out of bed again.
Regards, Clare
I have heard many times where people say if they are ill with a really bad cold or flu, their RLS seems to subside. Theory is your brain is sending signals to help with the cold/flu symptoms and hence leaving the RLS alone. Its just a theory tho.
Sorry, but I've never noticed my symptoms subside when I have a bad cold. I've never had flue, but would've thought, if you really have flue as opposed to just a bad cold, that you're pretty out of it and so wouldn't notice even if the symptoms were kicking off.
