Able, are you asking if you can take both of those meds together.? If so then you can, many do. But you need to see and ask your doctor.
I have been on Pramiprexole for a couple of years now. At first I was taking a double dose and I would fall asleep, even when driving.Dangerous when driving. It has given me relief I never thought possible. I take one about 1 hour before bed. I occaisally still get The restlessness, but rarely. If I take another dose it goes away,am worried about Augmentation as I used to take Kinson and then Clonazepam which both individually worked for Quite some time, but the Augmentation set in.. I think Pramipreole is a wonder drug. It has also saved my Sanity and my life!!!
I have personally taken the two together. I took the pramipexole for RLS and the gabapentin for RLS. I lasted for about 8 weeks on the combination. I was not getting enough relief. My neuropathy was so incredibly painful that I had to switch to something other than gabapentin. I also had some pretty severe ankle swelling from Gabapentin. It was not because I took the two together. My doctor assured me of it.
I was taking 1 mg of pramipexole when i read in the Restless Legs Newsletter about some getting benefits from using gabapentin in conjunction. So I tried 300 mg of gabapentin and I had great results. I formerly wasn't dreaming much, confirmed by a sleep test. Used together I have a lot of dream time now. Not sure what to advise you if you are getting stressed on this combination. Perhaps you are taking too much of one of them?
Unfortunately I have augmented on Mirapex and am currently trying to get off it. Week 7 now and still having issues. My plan is to later (after 3 months) add back in some pramipexole or Requip to the gabapentin that I am attempting to shift to. However the gabapentin is not doing the job I was hoping and I am not sure about the direction I want to go now.
