On the Southern Californian RLS Support Group there is mention of a RLS Medical Alert Card but I am not sure if this is the one you mean. If it is you can do some googling. Hopefully someone will know more about this card, you read about some time ago, if one does exist and be able to give you more information.

I just recently used my card when booking long haul flights and got tbe best possible seats it is shaped like a small business card and requests suitable seating and provides a short summary of the symptoms.. I think I got mine as part of the pack when i joined (paid up member) THE WED/RLS Foundation USA. It may also be available to print off free from their web site.....not sure of that. It is different from the medical alert card but the MAC may say enough. I have it also. Alternatively your GP could give you a letter. I don't know if a card is available here. You could do a search.

RLS UK is looking into this at present. I think that a card with a v brief summary of what RLS is and the symptoms would be useful to help people understand why we may need special allowances or perhaps make them a little more tolerance if we are pacing around! However, in some situations, such as booking aeroplane seats, a doctors note would carry more weight as it is personal to you and has your GP info on it. Good luck!
