A long awaited and damning assessment of the true impact of the biopsychosocial approach.

The Centre for Welfare Reform - in The Expectation of Recovery
How this fits into the overall case against PACE johnthejack.com/2016/04/18/...
Another excellent post Ian. Funnily enough it was when I came across the JohnTheJack post on Twitter that I also stumbled across the Centre for Welfare Reform report.
The two together illustrate very well how the damaging biopsychosocial approach is making a lot of sick people even more sick, ruining a lot of people's lives physically, emotionally and financially and even putting at serious risk the future for unbiased scientific research.
A sorry mess indeed for everyone and high time it was made more public.

Secret plan for charging for appeals against the bad decisions mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/s... when tribunals are reversing so many decisions.
Universal credit has flopped and how much has been wasted on that, now more is wasted on trying to stop people getting the support deserved a shameful way for a civilized society.
Beggars belief. Just when you think they have stooped as low as it is possible to go . . . nope, out comes another vicious little money spinner. I can't say anymore or I'll be thrown in jail. Or is that next anyway?

Sorry Readerlist, I may well be being a bit thick here, but can you give me some idea of what that list represents. Thanks.xx
Freedom of information tribunal hearing where QMUL are contesting Alem Mathees request for PACE data.
Seeking the tribunal overule a decision from the Information Commissioner stating the requested data be released or the university holding it would be in contempt of court.
The case is on page six of ten on the list with the case number identified in my previous post.
Another excellent article. Particularly like the link in one of the comments to yet another letter, this time from Malcolm Hooper PhD, B Pharm., MRIC, C Chem.
, Emeritus Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, University of Sunderland, UK, calling for the release of data and the withdrawal of the PACE trial.
Fingers crossed.xx
