Has anybody ever tried Hermann, The Friendship Cake before? You start with some cake mixture, love, nurture and feed it over 10 days, split it into 4 as it grows and make the most magnificent apple cake ever, soooo tasty

Hiya Emjay, yes I have heard of and tasted this cake. Very nice but I turned down my donation as what do I want to do making all those cakes forever - and just for me! (Turn me into a roly-poly woman!) Anyway, I do prefer my Dorset apple cake.
