New person here. Been a smoker on and off since i was 13yrs old, now approaching my 50th year and i thought it was time to try and give it up. I gave up for 5 years but started again when my dad became poorly in 2012. Anyway with the help of an e-cigarette, i'm now on day 28 of quitting :). I can't say i won't ever smoke again at the moment but i am taking it one day at a time.

Hi 😁 I'm on 6 day of cold turkey. Been smoking 20 a day for 16 yrs now and this is my first cold turkey attempt. I completely understand what you mean when you say you can't say ull never smoke again. Thats exactly how i feel. Im so determind to stop for good though.
That is great news Lizzy. Using e-cigarettes are loads better than smoking the real thing. Did you get your breath back? When I switched to e-cigarettes, it was easier to walk long distances and even go to the gym! I ditched e-cigarettes a couple of months ago but I found I was smoking more than I would smoke actual cigarettes. I did more research and found that some e-liquids can be harmful. I looked for some alternatives, and there are actually loads out there, and found a couple of things and invested a good 200 pounds in different things. Most were complete rubbish, nothing like a cigarette or e-cigarette. I didn't get any satisfied from it. I really struggled. I relapsed as well. I had a real cigarette- worst than e-cigarette! One of the things I got that actually helped loads was an aromatherapy vapouriser for smokers. It wasn't as good as e-cigarettes but it was free from smoke and harmful chemicals!!! I focused on my health and quitting other bad habits at the same time. I wanted a complete change. I wanted to be me again. I wanted to be free. The aromatherapy vapouriser was definitely useful for me, and I still use it every now and then when I get an urge, but right now I am completely tobacco and harmful chemicals free! I really recommend it X
Hey that's good news that you've found something which works for you. I'm still smoke free after 2 1/2 months. I certainly feel healthier and cleaner. I enjoy the vape but get fed up with the battery running out. Might have to do some research and invest in something new. Might just have a look at the aromatherapy vapouriser
