Dave no longer suffers nor is he a captive in his body. Love to all the families

who continue to battle this illness.

Judy.....I am so sorry you have lost your husband Dave. I am however sure that he is now in a far better place where he is no longer suffering the indignities of this terrible disease which claims so many lovely people. My husband Frank went on St George's day & although it's very hard & I miss him so much, I wouldn't wish him back to suffer any more. It's so hard to watch your loved one, especially in the last days but you were with him & I'm sure he knew you did everything in your power to help him & keep him safe during his battle.

It's very early & feelings are very raw but do all you have to do.....sometimes on autopilot if you're anything like me......then please take time for yourself & the same goes for your daughter as she will be missing him so much too.

My heart goes out to you & your family. Take care & you will smile again. Love Hazel B xx

Dear Judy,

I am thinking of you and hope you find peace and strength in the coming weeks. This is something I dread, but at the same time wish for for my mother who, recently, is so obviously suffering. When the time comes that the suffering outweighs the pleasures, I believe that this is sweet release for our loved ones. Hopefully this consolation will give us the push we need to pick up the pieces.

Love

Cate

Your news is very sad but I hope you can find some comfort in the fact that Dave is no longer suffering. And that he knew he was loved so much.

Take care

Dear Judy1962

So sorry for your loss. PSP takes away all dignity from life and life itself in the end. Take care of yourself.

Dear Judy,

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news about David.

As others have said, David is now free of this crippling disease.

Give yourself time and a chance to regain your strength in the days to come.

My deepest sympathy and love to you and your daughter.

Judy,

I am thankful that David is at peace and am hopeful that you will be able to remember the best parts that you shared with each other. I will share this poem with you as it has always brought me a sense of peace when I have lost someone I have loved.

Could it be, perhaps, that they are not really stars... but openings in the heavens held by our lost loved ones... to let us know that they are okay?

Peace to you and your daughter...
