Dear Racewalk,

so sorry for you, and not sure if the following helps you, but for my wife Maria and myself it helped a lot : We found out that as a couple, the only fondamental aspect of life is love. Maria (52) and I then just nourished that, and even the most complex days (with physical distress) would become days we exercised even more love for eachother (and God’s love). There is no disease, accident, or evil person, that can take away our ability to be loved and love in return. We tend to look for fisical independence, but that is a myth… Maria becoming dependant made me a better husband, our children learnt that her love was much more precious than her cooking and other physical looking after.

I understand you are based in Italy, so I’m I, if the case and if you need to talk, dont hesitate to contact me directly.

meanwhyle be assured of my prayers for both of you.

Simon (52)
