Light mocha flavored deep dish ice cream pie with a hint of caramel in a chocolate baking crumb pie shell. Topped with slivered almonds, chocolate and caramel drizzle. It finishes nicely with my milk chocolate Timtations. This dessert will have you putting your hands up and surrendering to its great taste.

There's a back story to this creation. We have a restaurant chain in Canada called "The Keg," they're known for their great steaks and seafood. They have a limited dessert menu, but what they offer is one of the best ice cream pies you'll find anywhere except for my kitchen. This dessert is called Billy Miner Pie. I don't know how they arrived at the name, but I know a little about Billy Miner... perhaps you do, too. He was a bandit in the 1860's on who robbed stagecoaches, banks and even trains primarily throughout the mid-west and even into Canada. He was the first robber to use the phrase "Hands Up." In a recent Facebook post, one member posted a picture of a slice of Billy Miner pie they were about to enjoy at the Keg. I took that as an opportunity to recreate this ice cream dessert. Taste wise... I was bang on the consistency, however, was not as light and creamier. That is something I cannot recreate using a household ice cream maker. I'll spare you the process details. Hence, the name Billy Who? and the suggestion my creation would have you throw your hands up and surrender to this delightfully decadent dessert.
