For about a year now the Care Quality Commission has been running a campaign to encourage people to report poor care to them.

The CQC is the inspectorate for the following areas:

Care homes

Hospitals

Services in your home (Home care services)

Doctors/GPs

Dentists

Clinics

Community services (care, support and treatment for people with learning disabilities, acute or chronic conditions, mental health needs or substance misuse problems.)

Mental health services

CHC which has it's own standards and complaints system.

Nor Adult Social Services which is overseen by ombudsman.org.uk/
