Advice please

Hi I wondered if anyone's got any advice my left hand has been swollen about 6 weeks. I was given a glove to help with circulation to wear in bed at night but it hasn't seem to do any good! Thinking of you all. Jeanette

Looking at past post about this it seems to be part of PSP. Could be heart related or fluids pooling in the extremes. Keeping it raise above the heart seems to be the best treatment.

Larry’s right foot has been swelling in the last few months. The latest bout started after he had his full body massage. The foot was swollen when he got off the table. Then it turned black and blue. Having his foot massaged seems to have set this bout off. Three weeks later the discoloration has gone but the swelling is still there. He doesn’t keep it raised. That doesn’t help. It doesn’t seem to bother him much.

I can’t believe I forgot one of the basics of swelling, elevate. Dad’s left wrist area has been more swollen in the past few days, so I will try to see if we can raise the hand without causing additional pain to his shoulder.
