That looks like a lovely place for a walk. I hope you can get out to enjoy the sea air and views!

Only 45 minutes away from us. We often drove down after work for a walk along the prom and the pier. It was so sad when it caught fire but I'm so pleased it has opened again. I hope you get to walk on it tomorrow.

If you haven't already been there, I highly recommend the de la Warr pavilion restaurant. We have eaten there many times, even since Colin was on a soft diet. The sea views are good from the top as well.

Have fun.

Just thought, if that's where you live, you've probably been there loads of times.

Piers are great, very flat, as long as you don't hit a dip in the woodwork!!!

Lots of love

Hope you have a lovely day. Hastings is one of bugs favourite places to visit. A plate of cockles at the Rock-a Nore and a visit to Stone Corner for a new pair of earrings are always part of the trip. I hope the weather is kind but even if not, just sitting in the car watching the squalls out at sea or the waves crashing in can be relaxing.

Love the old town in Hastings but a bit more difficult to navigate as Ben's balance deteriates. Must walk the prom and the pier. Also love to visit bexhill for the afternoon, adore the pavilion and the prom there is lovely. We took a flask of tea and cake onto the Ashdown Forest yesterday, chose a carpark with a wonderful view of the Southdowns only to find forgot to pack teabags, had to look for a kindly family to beg for some. Lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world

Hastings old town not easy to negotiate with mobility problems but at least promenade and pier were flat! Feel like I chicken out of going out because it seems like such hard work with 14stone to push, but we've been out 4 days in a row, so maybe I'm mastering it, although I did have help Friday, xx
