Perhaps we have to eat the amount in the picture daily.  Years ago C was dangerously short of potassium due to ulcerative colitis and it was given intravenously. I knew bananas contained potassium so took some into hospital. The doctor said he would need a banana the size of a double decker bus to get enough potassium.

I think Colin was so lacking and there wasn't enough potassium in the few I took him in.

Can't stand bananas even in custard.  So no use to me I will keep to the beer and wine.

I have a banana every day for breakfast with a glass of yogurt drink. But i still need my glass of wine or tin of fosters in the evening to relax with after he has gone to bed. Think i enjoy the wine and lager more then the banana. Janexx

NannaB I love bananas, I always have one cup up on my porridge every day.  But I am still stressed, so much going on in our lives at the moment, trying to be strong for my beautiful daughter, who is not very happy and the moment, and our two georgous granddaughters, sometimes life is not fair, actually life has been unfair to us for the last 5-6 years xxxxx

Ditto Yvonne.  Apart from anything else we have to cope with, we never stop being concerned for our children however old they are, and then along come grandchildren and then for my 63 year old brother , great grandchildren. It goes on forever but usually the good out weighs the bad, although it doesn't always seem to.

Off to make my porridge with banana. Has to be jumbo oats though.

We love bananas and if I haven't had time to give husband a snack ,I give him a banana.I tend to bake a lot of banana bread( cakes).....delicious! Especially good when the bananas are over ripe.

I give C banana milk shakes or liquidised in fruit juice. I just eat them.

I do, but out of them. Have a thought for what its worth,, are any of our fellow suffers had or have migraines?

I've only ever had one migraine and thought I had a brain tumour. I sympathise with anyone who does. I don't think C ever has but he can't tell me now.

My informal research. Wondering if migraines have anything to do with PD
