Here is a photo of Billy, our 2.5 yr old grandson's reaction to the arrival of his new baby brother. So funny but also a bit sad. Sorry it's upside down. Xx

what a lovely little boy, they are not babies for long, are they especially when a new baby comes along. Merry Christmas Katie xxxxx

He does look sad doesn't he but he is probably just confused and wondering when the new baby is going back to where he came from. He'll soon love him to bits I'm sure and be proud to be the big brother.

Enjoy the cuddles from both of them.

X

Sweet little boy. He must be thinking, "Boys in this basket get alot of attention, I can do that!"

Oh, how lovely and poignant! Sibling jealousy. It is the way it often goes, but we do get over it! My younger sister is visiting me now. I have forgiven her for being more adorable than I....just!

Maybe he thinks when the baby's put in his Moses basket he'll get to cuddle it! Xx

Lovely. I think he's saying " its not only babies who need cuddles !"

I know he'll get plenty over Xmas.

My little daughter had a baby brother at the same age., and did the same. I pointed out all the things she could do, wheras the baby could do little until she showed him.

She was an adoring big sister [ most of the time !]

HA! I was brought home from "the hopple" on my sister's second birthday, and my mother told her that I was a special birthday present for her, and we always had a particular closeness on that account. She looked out for me! More than half a century on, I am still her birthday present.

Poor little fellow. They will have such fun together though when a bit older.
