WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO NOW THEN ?
Yes, I'm here and my alarm hasn't even gone off yet. Ambulance left at 2.30. Colin slipped off his chair and I couldn't get him up. He landed on the wheel of his walker so has a lovely purple line down his cheek. Anyway, he is OK so we are ready to party.
POOR OLD COLIN - I DO HOPE THAT HE WILL BE OK -- I CAN APPRECIATE THE PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE AS WHEN I FALL MY HUSBAND FRED HAS A DREADFUL TIME IN GETTING ME UP - WE HAVE ADOPTED A METHOD WHICH MUST BE QUITE AMUSING TO WATCH .. WE OR RATHER FRED GETS A LEATHER POUFFE FROM THE LONGE AND GETS ME SLIDING ONTO THAT BEFORE HE CAN THEN PULL ME UPRIGHT !!
Thanks Shasha, he is OK, just a bit shaken and bruised.

My Harper would dance, but his sister, Juniper, won't stand for much fooling around. She will stand up and tap my hand for a treat. I say "give me paw, June!" And she comes right up. Very cute for a 17 year old.

HEY JILL LOL =- WHERE IS THE VINO ?
Hi all! We have an eclectic mix of tunes here, visiting in Montreal Quebec , something Mexican and lively just now. My guy's brother has collected music from all over. It could be Armenian oud music next! Maybe some classical, or bluegrass! It's on shuffle. It's snowy and cold outside, warm and cinnamon fragrant inside. I've made coffee cake. We are cozy and happy. Jill, I'd love to know more about Yorkshire. My knowledge is largely shaped by my love of "A Secret Garden."I think that book is why I took up gardening as a child.
Got it -a nice little Merlot now for the smelly cheese !
WOW AND I HAVE JUST ACCEPTED A CUP OF TEA!!
Smelly cheese! When we arrived after our six hour drive here last night, I unpacked the wine and found a wedge of smelly cheese, hexaire Munster I think that had been left in the bag since I bought the wine and cheese two weeks ago! I was worried that it would have suffered, but all agreed it was wonderfully stinky and delicious still. But we really had to wash our hands after!
GEORGEPA SAIO HE WOULD LIKE SOME RED WINE AND SMELLY CHEESE TO GO WITH IT
MNYOEN ELS ERADY OT EAT CHEES E AND HAVE A GLASS O F RED WINE = OR A BIT I EARLY IN THE DAY 4 U YET

I have always been fascinated by the Yorkshire accent. Did you keep yours, Jill?
I've Lived in London for 50 years but still have some Yorkshire accent I'm pleased to say.! Its a beautiful area. God's own country !
I'm on my second glass of rose and may start singing Ilkley Moor in a minute. Jean
We are in Kent. One of the paramedics who came today told us all about a puppy he is getting in January. I asked him where he was getting it from and he said Yorkshire. I said that was a long way to go to collect her and he said, no is isn't, it's c very near to where he lives. Apparently he and his family live in Yorkshire but he works in Kent for ten days and then has 5 days off and goes back to Yorkshire. He said he gets more money down here but it's cheaper to live there. I know people commute, but that is ridiculous.
WELL FOLKS I AM SIGNING OFF NOW AS I AM GOING TO THE LOO ! THANKS JILL FOR ORGANIZING THE PARTY AND FOR KEEPING US REMINDED LOV E YOU ##
SHASHA XXX
Hi guys, sorry I'm late, looks like I missed all the fun. Hope Georgepa didn't sup ALL the wine! I'm staying sober for now, got a date tonight with the sexist man I know. He is taking me out to dinner in one of South Africian' finest! The only problem is, I'll have to push him back up the hill!!!
I would like to propose a toast though. To every one sufferering from this evil disease and the lovely, hardworking and my best mates, the carers.
CHEERS EVERYONE. Hope everyone has a lovely, "you know what" please nobody tell "you know who" what's coming up. You never know it might decide to take the day off and leave us all in peace for a few hours. That's a lovely thought to end on.
Have a good one, especially Jill for organising the party!!!
Lots of love
Heady
THANKS FOR THA THEADY AND SHASHA

So my joke: the guy from Niagara Falls (my home town) is visiting England, and Ralph St. John (excuse me, that's Rafe Sinjin, if you please) is showing him around and enjoying his confusion at Gloucestershire and Hawick and so on, and finally comes to introduce his guest as being from Niagara Falls, and the American says, humph! That's Niffles, if you please.
I'm here Jill but don't know if I am early or late for this party! I hope u & others continue to enjoy it. I celebrated my 80th birthday last month & my sister came over to Perth from Newcastle in NSW - so we spent the time eating & Drinking! Champagne! A group that was formed after the collapse of our Probus club meets each month for lunch that is really enjoyable but I had a glass of champagne that was one I did not know/never had before & I had an 'allergic' reaction to it - pity as I did enjoy the food Barramundi fish from a place called Cone Bay to the north of us - raised in the sea & so tasty not like the Barra that is raised in a river that tastes muddy!. All est wishes marytea13
