Marytea13,

Yes, there are a lot on Sharon's list. There are even more on Patricia's Protocol. My theory is, they may or may not help, but we know the pharmaceutical industry has nothing to offer. It has helped Sharon and, I believe, it has helped my husband. And it has not hurt. If I were starting over, I would try one thing (e.g. Longvida Curcumin or another brand that claims to cross the blood-brain barrier). See if that makes a difference. Then add another on the list. I say this because by the time my husband's symptoms were enough of a concern to go to the doctor, he had already been having CoQ10, fish oil, alpha lipoic acid and acetyl-L carnitine, B vitamins, and turmeric. So I needed to increase what he got. And I panicked from the sucker punch of the diagnosis of PSP, which I had never heard of. At that time the doctor said he has about 5-7 years on average. I said, "Until what?" She said, "Until he dies." I was totally unprepared for that. There is no way to know if what he had been getting had held his symptoms at bay or what. I do know that some symptoms have gone away. Why? There is no way to tell. I know this is a long battle, and there is only so much I can do. But I must try to fight this disease. Please pardon my long answer. Good luck! Christine 47
