Hubby really wants to have RP instead of Radiation. Gleason 7 (4+3) T1c, PSA 4.9. He is 59 yo. We are blessed to live only 1-1/2 hours from Dr. Patel in Celebration, Fl. Here’s the catch; about 18 years ago he had very rare Carotid Body Tumors (Benign) removed. Since that time, nerve damage caused fluctuations in blood pressure; whenever he is put under BP sometimes tanks on him. He also has very well controlled CKD. Patel is requiring a Cardiac clearance in order to do the surgery which we are in the process of doing. If he has to have radiation instead, I would love to hear some success stories if there are some of you out there?
