Only 80 of the 12,000 urologists in the U.S.A.who treat men with prostate cancer are women. Malecare, the national prostate cancer support network will present the world’s first all-female faculty at the Prostate Cancer Patient Conference on Saturday, October 5, 2019, in New York City. Twelve leading female prostate cancer doctors will speak to over two hundred prostate cancer patients about strategies for living longer and healthier lives. Malecare hopes to disrupt sexism and genderism and improve prostate cancer patient care by removing bias from doctor referrals.

But how many urologists who treat incontinence in women (far more prevalent than in men) are women? I don't think this shows that there is any "sexism" to "disrupt" or that there is a sex bias in doctor referrals. It seems reasonable to me that men might prefer to treat diseases of men, and women might prefer to treat diseases of women. Specialty preference is also a product of close relatives who may have suffered or died of those illnesses.
