Hi everyone has anyone had anyone had heart issues with radiation therapy for prostate cancer.

Don't understand the prostate is nowhere near the heart so how can RT cause a problem unless you've had hormone therapy that can cause cardio issues.

I developed premature atrial contractions but I blame the ADT, not the radiation.

If you are also taking Lupron, as I was, it is more likely that the ADT is causing the problem. I went from an ejection fraction of 45% to about 35% after a year of Lupron.

No issues here but ADT can cause issues.
