In our meeting last night, there was a lot of sharing about loss. We face lots of loss during this journey. Loss necessitates a process of _grieving._ Grieving is not just a condition. It is also a process. Have any of you been able to incorporate grieving into your personal or on-line meetings?

We've certainly talked about members who have passed. But to my mind, there is no substitute for ritual.
I haven't done any online but bought a couple of good books on having cancer and grief by Alan Wolfelt.
I personally have grieved over my diagnosis of prostate cancer. The books have helped me see that it is necessary to grieve (and morn). Everyone is different though.
Thank you. We are all different in how we handle the stresses and challenges of life. Thank you for the Wolfelt references.
