Obtaining EpiSwitch PSE

Oxford Biodynamics (UK) has announced a new blood test, EpiSwitch PSE, with claimed accuracy, specificity and sensitivity >= 94%. The test uses PSA along with several genetic markers for prostate cancer detection, which is a marked improvement over 4K in specificity.

Does anyone have info on getting the test? It's newly available as of mid September.

Info at 94percent.com

Thanks for the post. It is available. I will ask my MO if I can get it. I don't know whether or not medicare will pay for it.

Looks promising. The site you posted has a pop up link to order the test. Relatively straightforward

Dear allI live across the pond and prior to my pc diagnosis I enquired about this pse test to be told it was not available. However 3 days ago Oxford bio opened it up to the public in the uk and I understand that samples are sent to a lab in Cambridge UK and the samples are then sent to USA since that is where the machine that reads the DNA is. So I suspect that if it is a USA based machine then they will be targeting USA men heavily. If I had had the opportunity to use it beforehand then at 94% accuracy I would have used it as my first step on my journey and if it came back with a yes I would have then gone on to the conventional steps of mri and transperineal biopsy since I would never have a transrectal biopsy because men die from sepsis just to find out that they do not have pc ( see Norways ban on transrectal biopsies)

Hope this helps
