I am turning 65 in a month and need to decide on Medicare or keep my company United Healthcare Insurance. Looking for recommendations. From What I read I can get ALL parts of Medicare and supplemental for what seems like a reasonable price but is it as good are United Healthcare? For example I had Pro Act surgery for my incontinence which helped 98-99% and UHC covered it except the out of pocket of course but Medicare???
So far post of 3 years with a G-9 and T3b with IDC and Perineural Invasion I am still undetectable but have PTEN and P-53 as well as Check-2 mutations so am worried as to when it comes which insurance will be better.

Not knowing the specifics of your company's plan and what state you are in it's difficult to make a recommendation. Just don't get a Medicare Advantage plan. They are neither Medicare or an advantage. They are private insurance plans and not worth considering.
Original medicare here with medigap supplemental. With PCa stay away from all Advantage plans because you want the option to go with the best practitioners for whatever is needed. Completely agree with Magnus1964 !
appreciate the input. I live in WI and Sarasota and most of my docs are in Medical College of WI. I have a meeting with a medicare consultant who is a tenant of ours next week as well.
We have Federal BC/BS so with Medicare we have paid zero dollars for all tests, surgery and 2nd opinions . MC is primary and BS/BS picks up anything MC does not cover. I know it is different for other carriers. I do know that every year you don't take MC part B after you are eligible there is an increase in the premium
Recommend regular Medicare with a supplemental instead of a Medicare Advantages Program via UHC. I do Advantages (GL 9 T2N1M0) and could not get access to my local cancer center experts without major fight and appeals.
