My urologist wants to do a repeat MRI and biopsy in approximately one year. Fine with me. PS tests every 4 months. Fine with me...

My question. Why not do a MRI at mid point (6 months) to see that things are not progressing? Or PSMA-PET scan. What if things are growing quickly?

They aren't growing quickly - that's been proven in several long running trials. No need for extra scans of any kind.

The confirmatory biopsy within a year will be mpMRI-targeted. Current NCCN guidelines call for no more than 2 PSA tests per year.
