After 28 sessions and 6 months ADT my first PSA reading was <0.1. Three months later the reading is 0.1. Does this constitute a rise or is it insignificant?

He has a prostate, so he should have some PSA as his T level rises.

I don't think it's significant. At that level you will get some small movements in PSA do to irritations or inflammations in the prostate bed.

Look at this which was recently posted on this site: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

The explanation seems to me to be that the persistence of PSA over .9 indicates the degree of castration-resistant cells remaining after RT. A recent PCRI video on Youtube discusses this as well. I would strongly urge you get a PSMA scan, even at that low PSA because castration-resistant cells do not produce PSA but still can be seen on a PSMA scan.

you mean over .09, not .9. Which would basically be something pretty close to where he is. If i'm not mistaken that study also used the figure of 95% drop being good and also said >.5 is a negative threshold.
