Not covered by Medicare question

My oncologist requested for me to have a 'PET-CT bone scan NAF' to be compared to one I had done 5 years ago and paid for by Medicare.

Medicare now says that it is not covered. Has anyone had this test denied by Medicare?

Thanks, Chuck

I heard they stopped covering it. I can see how that is frustrating when you want to use the previous scan as your baseline. I guess all you can do is get an Axumin or PSMA PET/CT.
