Would a low T prior to diagnosis suggest a more rapid progression to castrate resistance? If so, is that risk reduced if T was normalize with T replacement at the time diagnosis was made?

Hypogonadism is a marker for more aggressive PCa:

But I don't know if that means CR is reached faster.
I also don't know if TRT at the time of diagnosis will reverse it. My guess is that the chronicly low levels of T over years contributed to genomic damage. I doubt if that can be fixed so quickly.
BAT might be useful in metastatic men who are hormone sensitive, but those results are very preliminary:
