Post RP Testosterone Level

One other bloodwork question: My testosterone was solid at about 700 for years. My 10-week post RP test had it drop off a cliff to 330. I'm actually surprised that RP could affect this? My doctor looked a bit concerned. Does anyone have any data or info on this?

Jimbay, I am about to have my post-surgical testosterone measured. I can let you know. I cannot understand why this would happen. Hopkins, the supposed Mecca of prostate cancer research, does not know either: hopkinsmedicine.org/brady-u....

also, ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

It is truly said that we often know more about our condition than do our physicians. We have the time and inclination to drill down while the busy office doctor cannot do this as much as s/he would like.

Hey, thanks for the posts. It looks like levels can be affected, but it is uncertain what this means, if anything. Please let me know if you get any insights from your lab work.
