Yes it's normal
The best thing to do is try & drink more water at the same time as eating your meal.
I'm about 11 wks now, & if i try to eat a big portion of food "without have at least a 2Ltr bottle of water next to me" i start to feel ill, which then puts me off eating the food altogether.
Hi, if you have the constant feeling of something stuck in your throat, you may have a strangulated stomach. It's a hernia where part of the stomach comes up into the throat. I had after bad morning sickness. Get it checked by GP, it's not usually serious mine sorted itself out.
