certain foods during pregnancy
NHS recommend eggs done hard (because of salmonella risk) and shellfish well-cooked (because of harmful bacteria), served piping hot all the way through throughout your pregnancy.

But, you know what you need. Other countries have different guidelines. In France people just raised their eyebrows at questions around unpasteurised cheese, wobbly quiche, wine etc. But the (albeit) tiny risk has big consequences in terms of poisoning yourself and your unborn child. This why the NHS is cautionary. I decided to err on the side of caution and get those vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats and amino acids from other sources.
Those (very few) who do consume raw eggs say:
Raw organic eggs from birds which you know have nearly limitless space to run around are the most perfect fast food. They have many benefits, they contain essential nutrients for the brain, nerves, glands and hormones, they are nutritionally balanced. The sulphur amino acids help to keep you young, raw eggs also contain an abundance of other vital substances including protein, essential fatty acids along with niacin, riboflavin, biotin, choline, vitamins A, D and E, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, iron, iodine, copper, zinc and sulphur. Egg yolks are one of the few foods that contain vitamin D. Most of this is non-digestible when cooked through.
I like my eggs runny and my steak medium rare!
So I now have my eggs just a tiny bit runny, the way I look at it is for hundreds and thousands of years women have had children, smoked, drank alcohol, lived in unsanitary conditions, and still managed to have healthly babies.
I have my steak medium. I just don't eat to much of anything under cooked.
Now 25 weeks

You can have eggs as long as they have the red lion on them.
