Please stop doing hot yoga , its not recommended the 'hot' part, if its te yoga you do in a heated room!
Pregnancy yoga is fine.
The reason you shouldn't do hot yoga is because when you are pregnant your body temp is about 2-3 degrees higher for your uterus to develop the baby, if you raise your temp even more this can lead to misscarriage, and birth defects.
Normal yoga is not recommended because when you are pregnant you have a hormone released called relaxin, which from day one to birth get stronger and makes all of your ligaments a muscles alot more stretchy, on this board you will read lot of women suffer with spd, back, hip pain, hand pain you name it lol, so pregnancy yoga is designed not to stretch you out in a way that could harm your pregnancy.
A reason for your ears going a bit strange is probably due to you getting to hot, definatley dizziness is, you must drink alot more water when your pregnant
Sorry to go on, but I'm shocked no one told u the risk of a raised body temp!
Go to your gp about your ears
Good luck x
Yep - Skyblueboston is totally right - Hot Yoga, ie 40 degrees for 90 mins, is not good for your baby and (if it's the popular 'branded' version) you will have signed a health waiver at the beginning. Also, the encouragement to do extreme poses will not do your body any good at all through pregnancy due to the relaxin. It is possible to do lasting damage to your body, such as lengthening the tendons to the point of getting hypermobility, by doing advanced yoga forms in pregnancy, even though you are used to doing them by the time you have become advanced.
Gutting, I know, but hopefully this will give you the chance to explore different forms of yoga and exercise.
