I'm 20 weeks tomorrow, baby is moving more and more, I'm growing more and more lol
This weekend I had vaginal sharp shooting pains, like a period cramp, they came and went, Sunday only a few. I had these at ten weeks too, is it my baby hitting nerves or uterus stretching or is it one thing to worry about?

Hi Hope you are ok!! funnily enough I was getting the exact same thing on saturday!!! I didnt worry too much (which is weird for me!) I described them as being like having knitting needles jabbed on me TMI! Im nine weeks plus one so possibly its the same thing? Im seeing my midwife tomorrow for the first time so I will ask her and let you know what she says xxxx
Hiya, I went to the docs today as I was getting really worried, as I have had them before at ten weeks and turned out to be nothing, but I have had them on and off for three days, the doc tested my urine which came back clear but he reckons it might be a uti so I'm now on Amoxcillian 500mg 3 x a day for a week. I also rang my midwife, she said she wasn't too concerned with the symptoms I explained but if they got worse then go to a&e or go to the maternity assessment unit tomorrow to make sure it's not contractions! So I'm going to see how I go tonight and if I'm still getting a lot of vaginal pains then I'm going to the ma unit.
Hope you're ok but I've had these and am pretty certain that it's all fine. Had these sorts of pains yesterday and I could really tell that baby was vertical and kicking downwards (therefore she was prob knocking my cervix - monkey!) When she turned it stopped. Sure it's normal x
