Early pregnancy

After my last post titled 'trying to concieve' i would like to annonunce that i am proudly pregnant! my next question is.....what happends now? ive been to the doctors and hes refered me to a midwife...thats all i know

Usually u have to make a booking appointment at 9 weeks I have mine next mon I must say its a pretty slow process at the start and congrats x

you usual get your first booking appointment around 9-10 weeks this is were the midwife will discuss with you all the test they offer you go through family medical history on both sides of the family and around 11-13 weeks is when your midwife arranges with the hospital/birthing center of your choice your first scan. When my gp confirmed my pregnancy i had to collect my maternity notes from reception and fill in as much as the info I could and then I had my appointment a week after that but it all deoends on how your gp surgery runs and the midwife as everywere is different and also with it being december and close to christmas you may not get seen until end of decemer. hope this info helps and congrats

I called up a number myself because I was unsure if my doctor made an appointment for me or not. even otherwise I normally like taking charge
