Flu jab

had my jab on saturday morning (under duress I may add!) and my arm has gone an alarming bright red, it's sore constantly and I can't lift anything substantial with that arm. I've never had reaction like this with any kind of jab before. Should I call the doctors? or is it a normal reaction??

I'd call your doctor or midwife just to be safe. I had mine on Saturday too, and it only went the tiniest bit sore, no more sore than a minor bruise, with no visible signs besides the dot where the needle went in, and I'm completely back to normal today.

i had 2 injections on thursday, flu jab in one arm and whooping cough in the other, the flu jab arm went bright red and really really sore, and i couldn't lift anything , took till monday before it started to feel better, hope you feel better soon :-)

I've heard that some people may experience quite strong pain, and redness in the arm where they had the flu jab. I'm about to have my flu and whooping cough jabs on the 19th. Hopefully you'll feel better soon, but I would call surgery just to reassure myself.
