I obv do not want to jepardise my holiday but would also like to look foward/ get excited at when i know we can start trying trying. any help would be appriciated. I doubt i will being that i have been on.my pill for 10 years but hey u never know.. head says wait another month to be on the safe side but either way it would be great to know.

You should wait a couple of months after coming off the pill to try as your at more of a higher risk to miscarriage due to your body trying to sort out its natural hormones and trying to get into a routine. By all means stay off the pill but use condoms for a another month or 2. Good luck with everything x
When I was trying I used ovulation tests which were great ad they told you the 48 hours you should be trying. They're meant to maximise your chances and I found they work as fell preg on 2nd month of trying. So whenever you do want to start I'd advise you use them. Good luck xx
thanks ladies, I didnt realise about the miscarried chances. My main queriey though was if I start trying now at what week would i be over 36 weeks on the 23 may 2012 if i did fall pregnant in the next ovulation date... (which would be rough the start of oct.)
