Go for it! Walking every day is fab. Later swimming might be an option (even if it's just walking in the pool). The water supports everything, so can be particularly kind.
Weeding is fine, but with two hesitations:
Firstly, watch your comfort levels - I find that my lower back is a little more susceptible to pain than usual, and anything which involves bending can exacerbate it (your placenta creates relaxin hormone during your pregnancy to helpfully allow greater stretch of ligaments etc- great for the birth, but deserves caution with exercise and bending etc), I also find that forward bends can be increasingly uncomfortable as the bubba gets bigger, so keep an eye on it as you progress.
Secondly, you should be careful not to inhale dirt particles whilst weeding and you should be particularly careful when washing your hands. There are some bits and bobs carried in the soil which can be harmful. Wouldn't advise you to give up your weeding due to pregnancy, but would recommend some research or discussing with GP or midwife so that you know the risks and know where to exercise care.
Essentially, you're right though - everything in moderation
I've told my partner that I will supervise and he can do the weeding for now. Thankfully its towards the end of the season for the garden, so abit of maintenance and it should be fine.
I actually quite lucky, a new centre has opened not too far away and has a lovely pool. So I could see myself relaxing in the water.
That's my new motto now ' everything in moderation' xx
