Hi Katie I was due to have this with my son as he was breech (he is 5 now!) I wasn't looking forward to it to be honest but thought it was worth a try rather than just accepting a c section. I had to go in a delivery suite (in case you go into labour) and first baby's heartbeat and movements were monitored for about 20 mins. Then the consultant came in and scanned me, had a look at my tummy and said 'No way' as apparently baby was too crampted to even attempt it! Sorry I can't be any more help but thought I would share my experience anyway. I ended up having an elective c section as the risks were less to baby then breech vaginal delivery. I have heard an ECV can be uncomfortable but not painful. Good luck with whatever you decide K x
