Has anyone suffered from retained placenta in their first delivery and suffered from it again in their second delivery?

I had retained placenta after the birth of my second child, with my third I opted for a natural third stage, without being given the injection, and had no problems.

I had to have a manual removal of the placenta for my first child and thought that it'd happen again for my second child. However it only affects 6% of deliveries and is to do with the position of the placenta. My first baby's placenta was very high whereas with my second it was much lower. My second delivery took two hours and there were no complications at all so try not to worry!
