V&D after feeding sheep at petting farm - worried about baby.

I have been complete idiot. I went to the petting farm with our toddler yesterday and fed the sheep out of my hand. I washed them well afterwards but have woken up today and have bad sickness and diarrhoea. I’m hoping it’s just a coincidence but the midwife said I have to go in when I’m well and have blood tests.

I’m so so scared and worried about the baby. Please please, can anyone give my any reassurance?

I had the worst sickness bug when I was about 7 months pregnant. Couldn’t eat or even drink water for about 3 days without having to run to the toilet. When for a midwife check up and wasn’t allowed to go until my wee sample was ok. Forced myself to drink loads of water. I was fine and baby was fine but do please go and get checked out.

And what a job - a shepherdess - sounds so regal!
