Am I miscarrying?

Hi everyone,

I've been on this page for awhile but first time posting and hoping to get some help. I've been spotting for about 10 days now; brown or pinkish discharge, not heavy, and mainly in the morning; no cramps but severe back aches.

I don't have any symptoms; I did abit from the beginning, but I don't feel them anymore.

I'm 6w2d. I called my GP, but he wasn't very helpful; all he said was that I could be miscarrying, but later on he said it could be implantation. With my first, I didn't spot or have symptoms till I was in my 3rd trimester.

Yet to be seen by the widwife.

Am I actually miscarrying?

Hi, I’m sorry you’re going through this, it’s so stressful. Do you have a local Early Pregnancy Unit? Most let you self refer or have a walk-in option if you have concerns. I have visited mine before for bleeding during pregnancy and have been offered scans. Hopefully all is well and you’ll get some reassurance. Spotting can be completely normal, I had it last weeks with my son but unfortunately have also had it go the other way x

Hi, I managed to get it checked as the blood was consistent and unfortunately for me baby had no heartbeat.

sorry to hear you’re having stressful. This month my period was due for 8 days and had about 13-14 days of pink discharge mainly in mornings and milky discharge in between. I had lower back pain, sore breasts and feeling sleepy. But had no cramp at all. I did a test on day 8 that my period was due and had a very very faint line. But in the evening had a period like cramp for half an hour or so. I went to A&E as I was scared to be miscarriage. The cramp stoped and they did a urine text and was negative. And from late night I started bleeding. They told me it was my period that was late. I had 3 days of heavy bleeding followed by one day of light bleeding and that was end of it! I can’t tell what’s happening for you but it was my experience that’s very similar to yours. Hope everything goes well for you.
