Hi,my baby has turned 5 months 3 days ago and since then he has decreased the frequency and amount of breastmilk. Earlier he was taking little formula which he has stopped. So my worry is has this happen to anyone of your's bub. Will this effect anything milestone wise?
Should i be worried ? Also he is not sleeping well and waking every hour at night.
Please let me know your inputs on this.
A worried Mumma

It sounds like hope doing a fantastic job, I seem to remember my two going longer between feeds around that time?, although neither of mine ever really slept well 🤣If baby is still having good output, lots of wet, dirty nappies, and doesn't have a fever or cold etc. I would try not to worry.
I have found with both my kids that their feeds can fluctuate so something to keep an eye on as Seb says, but it could be normal.
With regards to sleep, around 4 months their sleep cycles mature and if they can’t self settle then that can cause the frequent wake ups. Mine was up every 2 hours like clockwork between his sleep cycles until we sleep trained him at 5 months, and now he’s back to one wake up / feed per night again.
hi Spark Sparkle, I have recently had a similar situation with my baby boy who just turned 16 weeks. I have been worried too but he seems to be coming out the other side. He didn’t want to feed in the day (only lasting 3-4 minutes every hour or two) but every two hours at night like clock work. I think it’s either been early signs of teething or sleep regression causing it, but the past couple of days he’s back to normal. It lasted about 3-4 days. He’s generally feeding quicker now than he did when he was a couple of months old but still lots of wet and dirty nappies. Like you I’m trying not to worry but at this age everything feels like a phase that passes quickly. Hopefully your bub will be back to their usual selves soon. Good luck!
