Hi all I'm 40 and have a new partner, long distance 1.5 years but only met First time this month. I got sick woth gallbladder and only spent 8 days woth him. Unprotected sex not like me and for the 1st time in my life no period. I'm terrified as my gallbladder surgery is booked and I'm not 100% sure on us. Last time I had sex was on the 28th of June. My period was due 3 days ago and have done about 7 tests every day and all negative. I went to the dr for a blood test to note just waiting but in terrified I don't want to be pregnant.

you are about to have surgery and are likely stressed due to this. Stress can mess with your periods. Mine was delayed by two weeks earlier this year when I was suffering with stress. Hopefully it’s just that for you

if your period is regular and was due 3 days ago 28th June would be very late in your cycle to conceive, you usually ovulate about 14 days before your period is due. So probably just delayed due to stress / not being well with gall bladder. Hopefully period will come soon but I would test again in a week. If still negative at this stage then you can be reassured as conception on 28th would show by then.

I was having sex from the 29th to the 28th.. had a blood test and showed negative. Now proud is 4 days late, could there be a possibility still pregnant?
