Plan B Spotting or Implantation Bleeding?

Hi all, I'm new here so if I'm in the wrong area lmk. I'd like to start by mentioning that I am a pre-op trans man, just so people don't get confused on my profile.

I recently had sex for the first time in quite a while on the 3rd of October, which was the day my period ended completely. It was unprotected and I took a plan B less than an hour afterwards. I am around 200 pounds, so I have been nervous that the plan B isn't going to work because I read it doesn't work on people over 165. A few days ago I had mild brownish pink bleeding for a few days, and my period isn't due for another few weeks atleast. I I also had some mild cramping for a few days. I'm blind and so I can't drive, so getting a test is going to be a bit delayed for me. What are the chances that the plan b failed, and this is implantation?

I would say it would be the plan B causing the bleeding if you've taken it correctly. IfI you'd only just finished your period you're unlikely to have ovulated so unlikely (but not impossibe) to be pregnant,

Ia ways say to check if you have had an up to date smear test as well, as my first experience of spotting after sex I was diagnosed with abnormal cells.

I it is implantation bleeding you're probably not going to really know until your period is nearly due. So it's worth maybe ordering a few tests online so you can test on the day your period is due. The plan B could affect the day you come on, but if you are pregnant you can test then and get an accurate result.

Although I wouldn't say this is the wrong place to post, the NCT is a charity in the United Kingdom so we don't have the same healthcare system as the US, its also for advice about antenatal care and parenting rather than sexual health and contraception advice. There is a charity called the BPAS which is another British charity that's more geared towards what to do in the event of an unplanned pregnancy but I'm not sure if you wouldn't be better trying to find a US based forum as your options may be different than in the UK.
