Pre-term labour

I’ve been in hospital for 8 days now as one of the swab tests came back positive which means it’s likely I’m heading into pre term labour & I also have Polyhydramnios.

Last night I started feeling contractions and was in pain.. they were showing as very frequent on the monitor. It was a long night but this morning they seem to have stopped hurting again.. I’m still showing them but I’m not in any pain anymore. My cervix is still closed. I’ve been having contractions show on the monitor all week on and off but I haven’t felt any of those.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Did actual labour start?

This is my second pregnancy & I’m currently 33+3 weeks and being in hospital for so long is so hard as I have a 3 year old at home who I miss so much :(

Hi, Seen you’ve posted and haven’t had a reply.

I haven’t had experience of this. But I’ve now seen your waters have broken in another post - I think the longest they will leave you is 24 hours once they’ve broken. I just wanted to wish you luck and a safe delivery x
