early labour?

currently 38 + 3 weeks pregnant with my second child. Think I may have had a show yesterday but not 100% sure as I didn't have one first time round. Feeling very uncomfortable round the bottom of my bump which is worse when I'm lying on either side in bed. Little one has been head down since about 32 weeks. Have also had pelvic pain throughout pregnancy and now it's getting difficult and painful just to get up. Starting to panic a little bit now as don't really know what to do or expect as this is completely different to first pregnancy.

Could well be the start of labour, if you start having contractions that get closer and stronger no matter what you're doing. If changing positions or they stop it after a bit, it could be Braxton Hicks?

My baby is 1 in 2 weeks and the way you describe feeling has made me miss being pregnant so much, good luck with it all xx
