18 +2 cant feel movement yet

Hi im 18+2 can cant feel movement yet . Im on the larger size was was wondering if this is normal . ?

I'm overweight and didn't feel movement till much further along especially in my first pregnancy, not till at least around 24 weeks.

Thank you for replying. This is my 4th my younger is 15 and couldnt remember when i felt movement with my other 3 xx

With my first it felt like popcorn popping at first, like little bubbles.

I didn’t really feel anything until after my 20wk scan, and it was probably 22 wks until certain kicks

Hi,

From my research feeling movement can vary due to a lot of factors. For example, I had an anterior placenta so did not feel movement till 20 weeks but it was so subtle it could have been mistaken for gas 😂

24 weeks is when they say you should contact your midwife if you have not felt something by then. You have a few weeks yet…
